CSG West Border Legislative Conference

Our President and CEO, David Harlow, will be speaking at CSG West’s Border Legislative Conference in New Mexico!

The Border Legislative Conference (BLC) serves as a binational forum in which legislators can exchange best practices and identify policy solutions addressing the complex issues along the 2,000-mile U.S. – Mexico border region. BLC Chair, Senator Bill Soules, is pleased to host this year’s conference with support from the Council of State Governments West (CSG West) staff and invites you to join us.

State legislators from the U.S. and Mexico will convene September 19-21 at Hotel Encanto de Las Cruces in Las Cruces, New Mexico to share and learn from one another, as well as from invited speakers on the following topics:

• Trade, logistics and supply chain
• Managing drought
• Unaccompanied Minors
• Public Health including adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)
• What’s next for the binational relationship
